Since our formation in 1937, The Haslemere Thespians have presented over 150 major plays, more than 50 pantomimes and around 60 one act play evenings.

 

Today, we are more active than ever with a regular programme of events including:

 

* A highly popular and acclaimed pantomime in January

 

* A full length play in the Spring

 

* A further full length play or "supper evening" of one act plays in the Autumn

* The Next Generation - our highly talented youth group.

We are extremely fortunate in being able to present our shows in Haslemere Hall, a beautiful and superbly run facility in the heart of the town that has benefited from recent refurbishment and provides a wonderful venue for performers and audiences alike.

 

We pride ourselves on using this space to its utmost with recent productions either including beautifully designed bespoke sets, taking place in the body of the hall itself bringing the audience into the heart of the action or in the case of the pantomime breaking down all barriers between the audience and performers with a live band and packed houses for every performance.
