Madagascar: Audition pieces now available
Please find attached the audition pieces for Madagascar Jr. As well as asking everyone auditioning to sing and learn a short dance, we'll be asking the children to prepare the piece in pairs. We'll also ask them say a single line in as many different ways as they want to to show different characters. Jack Absolute Presentation and Auditions

Madagascar Announcement & Audition Dates
Our Next Generation Musical for 2026 is Madagascar Junior! Performance dates are the Friday 1 May 7:00 pm, Saturday 2 May 2.30 pm and 6.30 pm. Rehearsals will take place on Sunday afternoons 4.00 – 7.00 pm at Hammer Hall where auditions will be held on Sunday 1 February. Years 6-8: 4-5pm and years 9-13: 5.15-6.15pm. A call for an Indian actor to play a Battle of Britain fighter pilot! The Haslemere Thespians’ Spring 2026 production will be “Jack Absolute Flies Again”. . Richard Brinsley Sheridan's classic comedy, The Rivals , is given an uproarious Battle of Britain update by Richard Bean, of One Man, Two Guvnors fame, and Oliver Chris.
