A Midsummer Night's Dream (henceforth to be referred to as AMSND) is coming soon so it's time to meet the fine body of people who will be bringing this evergreen delight to the gardens of Haslemere Museum. So, settle into a comfy chair, sip a cup of cocoa and enjoy as they introduce themselves in their own words.
First up: Chris Deacon - Oberon, King of the Fairies.
"Asked ‘do you act?’ in 2004, Chris mumbled ‘err, maybe’ and this led to his first acting part since school. Is your appetite whetted? Why not bring along a picnic, warm clothes and something to sit on and enjoy a midsummer evening of romance, slapstick, magic and mischief. A riotous romp is guaranteed along with a happy ending!
This is a much smaller venue than the Hall with only 120 seats available for each performance and they're going fast so don't delay, tickets are £15.00 with concessions at £10.00 via the Haslemere Museum website https://haslemere-museum.arttickets.org.uk/haslemere-education-museum/a-midsummer-nights-dream-67b8ada7d2e70?t=1744141831347
