Audition Notice

Audition Notice: “The Games Afoot” 4:00 pm Sunday 19th June Haslemere Hall.

Set in December 1936 at the home of Broadway star William Gillette, when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities in this isolated house of tricks and mirrors quickly turn dangerous. It is then up to Gillette himself, in the persona of Sherlock Holmes, to track down the killer before the next victim appears. The danger and hilarity are non-stop in this glittering whodunit which won the Edgar award for best play in 2012.

There are some fabulous parts in this slick, humorous “who-dunnit” for M & F’s from 25-65. If you would like to obtain audition pieces, character descriptions & more please go to the "Contact Us" page and email us using the form you will find there.

The Haslemere Thespians are an amateur society/charitable group that perform to the highest possible standard and accordingly we are always keen to meet new members. There are numerous opportunities to get involved both on and off stage so if you feel any inclination towards set building, painting, musical accompaniment, stage crew, lighting, sound etc, do get in touch.
