Call for an Indian actor

A call for an Indian actor to play a Battle of Britain fighter pilot!

The Haslemere Thespians’ Spring 2026 production will be “Jack Absolute Flies Again”. .

Richard Brinsley Sheridan's classic comedy, The Rivals, is given an uproarious Battle of Britain update by Richard Bean, of One Man, Two Guvnors fame, and Oliver Chris. A riotous success when it was premiered at the National Theatre in July 2022, this hilarious play is guaranteed to provide a laugh-filled evening.

The cast includes Pilot Officer Bikram Khattri, a young Oxford-educated Sikh who flies Hurricanes for a fighter squadron where the action takes place. We are looking for a capable ethnic Indian actor (late 20s/early 30s) to fill this role.
