We asked our cast three questions:
Who is your character?
What's your favourite line (try to find a clean(ish) one!)
Why should people come and see this play?
To round this off with a bang, let's hear from Naomi Robertson:
I play Mia, she’s sharp as a tack and underneath her quick wit and don’t mess with me attitude, she’s actually a bit of a softie. I have found she is actually a bit of both in everything; she can be cutting and gentle, realistic and believe in things that aren’t always clear or have any proof. And she is a great pendulum of emotion, on one side she is fiery, a force to be reckoned with who asserts control and adapts even to the most bizarre situations and on the other, she is vulnerable, doubts herself and can be overwhelmed. She’s just wonderfully complex and human.
One of my favorite lines is: “so…will God be paying child support? “
This play is a joy from start to finish. Every character is funny, enjoyable to watch and you definitely would invite them all over for the most raucous dinner party you’ve ever had! Through the high pace, wit, and madness are perfect soft moments that make you fall in love and say to yourself, “Thank God I bought a ticket!”
Well said Naomi. Immaculate will be at Haslemere Hall on Thursday 9, Friday 10 and Saturday 11 October. Tickets are available now from the Hall Box Office on 01428 642161 or click here: https://www.haslemerehall.co.uk/sales/genres/theatre/immaculate
