David Greenwood was last seen on the Haslemere stage as Churchill in "The King's Speech" and later on this year will be appearing as a Yorkshireman in Tilbourne Players' "When We Are Married". In between, he is having a lot of fun in "Shakespeare Revue", a delicious concoction of songs and sketches poking fun at Will Shakespeare but always with affection. David may have "seen better days", "slept not one wink", may be "an eyesore, a laughing stock, bloody-minded and a blinking idiot". But his heart's in the right place (that one isn't Shakespeare but the others are) and he hopes that you will come and enjoy a hilarious evening. If you don't, then "by jove", "but me no buts", "the more fool you" !
Seize your chance of seeing David and the rest of the excellent cast of The Shakespeare Revue at Haslemere Hall on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 October. 7:30 pm on both days with Evening Supper plus a matinee at 2:30 pm on the Saturday with Afternoon Tea. Tickets for tables of up to eight are available now from the Box Office on 01428 642161 or go to https://www.haslemerehall.co.uk/sales/genres/theatre/the-shakespeare-revue---haslem
