Helen is certain that Shakespeare would be delighted to know that so much FUN could be had at his expense.
It's impossible to choose a favourite song or sketch when you're presented with the likes of Sondheim, Victoria Wood and Fry and Laurie to choose from. But two of Helen's favourite's see her as a Lady of London one minute and a French Princess the next. In fact, this is Helen's second appearance with the Thespians as a well-to-do French lady (being promoted from a French Duchess in the production of "Nell Gwynn") - not a type-casting she is particularly concerned about. And where else could you get away with a cheeky variation of "Heads, shoulders, knees and toes"?!
The Shakespeare Revue will be at Haslemere Hall on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 October. 7:30 pm on both days with Evening Supper plus a matinee at 2:30 pm on the Saturday with Afternoon Tea.
