The Haslemere Thespians invite you to join them for their magical family pantomime – a fairytale story where: good fights evil and prevails; boys dress as girls and girls dress as boys; and true love spreads happiness over the land.
All the glitz, glamour and spectacle which have come to be expected from one of Surrey’s greatest pantomime will be present, not forgetting the fun, jokes and audience participation! Our 2024 panto – ONCE UPON A TIME, will run for eight performances at the Haslemere Hall from Friday 12th to Saturday 20th January 2024, and is the perfect adventure for the whole family.
Cinderella and Snow White have come together to celebrate the forthcoming wedding of their children, Princess Talullah and Prince Marvellous. If the wedding goes ahead as planned, then, due to an ancient prophecy, evil will be banished from Pantoland forever. The wicked witch, Perfidia, sets out to stop the wedding by transporting the Princess, and her two assistants, Flash and Bang, to the far reaches of Pantoland never to be seen again… hopefully. BUT Prince Marvellous and his friend Jack, along with the cook, Gertie, set off to save the princess to ensure that they get their happily ever after. Along their way they meet various characters from well known fairy tales who help, or hinder, their quest!
