Meet our "Immaculate" Director

We were delighted to have the opportunity to have an EXCLUSIVE interview with Ruth Ahmed, the Director of Immaculate.

This is what she had to say:

"I first read Oliver Lansley's 'Immaculate' about 4 years ago and immediately wanted to have the opportunity to direct it. This is a great play, which, although on the surface, seems to be made up of excellent one liners within an outrageously funny plot, also puts forward ideas that provoke deeper thought.

It is also a fantastic vehicle to show the strength of the acting ability of our local non-professional actors and also the bravery and intrepid nature of the Thespians to produce a play that other groups might have shied away from. 

It has been a pleasure working with everyone to bring my concept for this play to life, there has been a lot fun in the rehearsal room and l hope that anyone who comes to see this play, will leave us having laughed as much as we have creating it for you."
