Where better to start than with one of our brightest stars? Sally Waghorn has been rightly popular with audiences for many years having thrilled and delighted in productions such as A Streetcar Named Desire, Nell Gwynn, The Wizard of Oz (for our friends at ITP) and, perhaps most challenging of all, as a corpse in The Game's Afoot.
In the words of Sally herself: "I had got bored playing witches (2 so far this year) and have washed off the green to appear in the Revue as a pretentious acting coach, a bossy director, a grumpy old lady and a French maid.
“This is the 3rd time I’ve performed in the Shakespeare Revue and I love the mix of wonderful songs and fabulous funny sketches. You really don’t have to be a Shakespeare buff to enjoy it. The cast is fantastic and the food will be worth the ticket price alone! I promise you a thoroughly entertaining evening”.
Don't miss seeing Sally and her equally talented pals in The Shakespeare Revue at Haslemere Hall on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 October. 7:30 pm on both days with Evening Supper plus a matinee at 2:30 pm on the Saturday with Afternoon Tea. What's not to love?
Tickets available from the Box Office on 01428 642161 or go to https://www.haslemerehall.co.uk/sales/genres/theatre/the-shakespeare-revue---haslem
