The King's Speech: Read Through & Audition calls

The story of how King George VI overcame his fear of public speaking through the help of Australian speech therapist Lionel Logue was made into a highly successful film and we are delighted to present the original version as written for the stage directed by Richard Weller.

A read through will be held at 7:30 pm on Wednesday 24 January with auditions commencing at 3:00 pm on Sunday 28 January. Both of these events will take place at

The Shottermill Club, Hindhead Road, Shottermill GU27 1LH. Audition pieces will be available on this website following the read through. If you are unable to make either or both of these dates or want to know anything about the production, please contact Richard by email at or on 07966 145256.

Performances will all be at 7:30 pm on Thursday 16, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May
